The month dedicated to Black History was designed to educate the future of their past. It services as a tool to enlighten them about the very soil they have been planted in, to blossom; encouraging them to plant more seeds once they have bloomed. Every story builds a heritage paved with heroics. Whether it was marching to prevent from being trampled, or refusing to stand to take a back seat. It has been a journey, but there’s still ground to cover

So Sorry
Don’t want to be sorry but feel sorry for yourself. Playing the victim but don’t follow the instructions to being saved. Absorbing the attention like a sponge; squeezing your self-inflicted pain in anyone’s ears that would listen. Claiming nobody can walk in your shoe; refusing to accept a new pair. How long are those tears going to run down your cheek before you realize it can be replaced with a smile? How long are your tall tales going to become shorter solutions? Being difficult to seem interesting, but people are losing interest, and seeing you’re a product of your pain. You haven’t survived because you aren’t living. You had choices but you chose not to choose. You had an escape but you locked yourself in. The milk was spilled, but you allowed it to spoil and stink up the house; when you could have cleaned it up the second it hit the floor. Now, you’re looking for a crew whom can relate instead of a group that refuses to base their relationship on past pain (but future joy). People that wouldn’t feel sorry for you but will teach you how to live a life you don’t have to apologizes for. Climb the mountain or you are destiny to be crushed by the debris from those actually climbing. Come join everyone progressing when you’re ready to be progressive!!!!
Giving Birth To Optimism
Sitting at night, listening to the beating of the heart makes it clear. Go through life dancing to that tune! Live pure and keep the music loud and strong. Go after your dreams today; don’t wait until tomorrow. Survive on love and feed the next generation with hope; though tomorrow is never promised, live for progression. The world can be cruel and harsh, but we can shape that same world to be caring and kind. Tears don’t have to translate to pain, and heartache doesn’t have to be the end. The way we internalize concepts will decide our vision, audio, smell, touch, and taste! Think back and remember that you have had bad days before, yet you still found time to smile. Create the perception of heaven. When you’re happy, live in it; and when you’re sad, help a stranger. When you’re angry, hug someone. You’re taking control back by understanding what you feel and doing something about it. Build a legacy that’s stands the test of time!!!!
Parenting
A child’s laugh can warm the coldest house; their footsteps bring a dead one to life. I love having my little girl parading around my home. She reminds me that I have so much to live for. I love having someone to pass my wisdom on to. Her eyes assure me that I am succeeding as a parent. Her smile reassures me that she is succeeding as a child. Just to think, there are people that take this job for granted, as if they can make up the work anytime they wish. It’s a 24 hour, seven days a week happiness! It’s a dream career that allows dreaming to become a career. Love is the greatest greatness that brings the great out of a person. Parenting is a hardship that is exceptionally rewarding. It gives us a chance to nurture the mind, body, and soul of another human being; which was created by the miracle of one moment. Now, at seven they are reading, writing, and reminding us of lost information from the second grade. It is precious; whether doing homework, watching movies, or just dancing around the house because we can. Are people really forced by the courts to do this? Wow!!!!
The Stock is High!!!!
You put me on a pedestal, showing that I am worth your praise. I will promise to never disappoint you. I will maintain my status by continuing to maintain my weight. There is no turning back, I set the bar high and your expectations shouldn’t be placed below it. The pressure is a pleasure; 
it encourages me to continue to thrive. I’m crippled because you showed me how much further I can see being blinded. I am in love and forever is in sight. Let’s sit back and start increasing value. We will make billions; billions of hugs, billions of kisses, and billions of times we make love. We are wealthy because we invested in each other; we will preserve that wealth by having faith in our stock!!!!
Electing The Best
They voted for a man to sweep up a mess that was impossible to clean up in four years; hiring a “scapegoat”, didn’t know he would be living in the House another four years. I am proud of America….We showed that we can pick the best man to create a nation worth marrying. Hope was restored yesterday by giving a man more time to finish what he started. Obama said four years ago he would need eight….The republicans played on our long-term memory and maximized on several of his short-term failures. We weren’t fooled; we stayed focused on the prize, and we will be rewarded. It wasn’t him that dug the hole; but it was him that stepped up to the plate to start digging us out. Slowly but surely we will see daylight, but we have to get to the surface before we can start building buildings to Heaven. So, God bless you America, because we blew out all the waste and preserved our potential!!!!
Built Stronger
It pains me your eyes are retaining water; you should be quenched with natural pleasures. The life you live has been designed for a purpose. Resigning isn’t your destiny; you can’t surrender to negative forces, though we all must retire. Don’t give in because you’re tired; take a few extra steps, allowing them to see that you’re the best even at your worst. Refrain from lashing out because they crave any attention they can weave into affection. I know, you feel so vulnerable, but your skin is so thick it’s impenetrable. Let them keep throwing jabs; it takes less energy to block them than to throw one back. I understand when turning the cheek, the other will get bruised, but I am not asking you not to fight back. I am teaching when and how to fight back. Studying your opponent gives you the ability to pass every test. I want you to write in ink until you have perfected what you want to relay. Why get caught in a tussle, when you can flex your greatest muscle. I see the forecast seems to always call for rain but it’s about to dial sunshine!!!!
